HR Manager
Amsterdam, NL, 1062 KR
Are you ready to take your HR expertise to the next level? This is a dynamic, all-round HR role where you will not only provide guidance and support to our European headquarters in Amsterdam and sales teams in Waardenburg and Belgium, but also play a key role in building a cohesive, collaborative culture across our organization.
About the role
As HR Manager, you will act as a trusted business partner to management, advising on the full Employee Life Cycle with a hands-on approach. Beyond operational HR, this role offers a unique opportunity to develop your stakeholder management and negotiation skills as you align local practices with global policies.
You will lead initiatives that strengthen our Employer of Choice positioning, including implementing global frameworks that enhance consistency and engagement. A key focus will be driving policies that encourage closer collaboration, such as our hybrid work model (4 days in the office, 1 day from home) and communicating the ‘why’ behind these changes to foster understanding and buy-in.
Your responsibilities include:
• Advising management on HR actions based on professionalism, ethics, and compliance.
• Leading annual HR processes (onboarding, performance management, training, compensation) in partnership with Centers of Expertise.
• Driving organizational changes with effective change and communication management.
• Partnering with business leaders on topics like absenteeism, sickness management, and employee relations.
• Acting as the point of contact for the local works council and managing engagement processes.
• Collaborating with global and local stakeholders across HR functions in a complex matrix environment.
About you
We are looking for an experienced HR professional who thrives in an international, multicultural environment and is eager to make an impact. To succeed, you bring:
• 5+ years of HR experience
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to manage stakeholders effectively.
• Ability to navigate change and communicate the bigger picture with clarity and confidence.
• Solid understanding of Dutch labor law and HR systems (SuccessFactors experience is a plus).
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with flexibility and creativity.
• Fluent in English and Dutch.
