The goal of our future GSM will be to lead procurement of raw materials within the Inorganics and Food sub-category and generate reduction in the total cost of ownership of services. Your future team is focusing on sourcing hydrogen peroxide, CO2 and Specialties portfolios which services across all business unit. In your role, you will become a product specialist who understands market trends and builds market strategy and strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will report to the Head of Inorganics and Food.

Tasks and responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic sourcing activities for the Inorganics sub-category with particular focus on Hydrogen Peroxide, CO2 and other Inorganics. Your goal is of achieving cost reductions, while maintaining or improving supply, service quality and sustainability.
- Identify, evaluate & select suppliers, negotiate and close framework-agreements.
- Fully support and champion our Sustainable Procurement objectives.
- Support R&D with identifying suppliers for specialties chemical and tolling projects.
- Drive product demand optimization throughout ICL via collaboration with the relevant ICL units.
- Maintain and develop in-depth knowledge of suppliers, markets & trends.
- Perform best-in-class negotiation processes via analysis of supply & demand trends.
- Establish and manage global/regional relationships with suppliers.
- Monitor performances of vendors and their compliance with their commitments.
- Address & solve operational issues with suppliers.
- Provide guidance and guidelines to the regional/local procurement personnel.
Your profile:
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in procurement or marketing & sales for Raw Materials, with a particular focus on chemicals and inorganics.
- Master or similar degree in a technical based field (for example Chemist or Chemical Engineer).
- Understanding of supply markets and price cyclicality in Raw Materials/commodity markets.
- Demonstrable track record of success in managing complex, cross-functional activities and developing/executing key procurement processes.
- Strong negotiation skills and result driven personality.
- Excellent interpersonal, business acumen, communication and supplier relations skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively, in a culture rich environment.
- Strategic thinker and pragmatic worker.
Languages: Excellent command of English is required. Other languages could be considered as an asset (Spanish, Dutch, French and German)

Ready to travel: 20-40% travelling is part of this job.
