About the role

As Global Sourcing Manager  Indirect Energy, you will lead procurement activities for utilities within the Energy sub-category, focusing on reducing total cost of ownership while ensuring service quality. You will collaborate with a team of Sourcing Managers and Operational Buyers, managing a spend of over €130M annually.

Your journey begins with strategic sourcing—analyzing markets, identifying opportunities, and negotiating agreements that set the foundation for long-term success. You’ll collaborate across functions to optimize demand and ensure every decision aligns with ICL’s vision for innovation and sustainability.

You’ll stay ahead of the curve, turning insights from legislation and market trends into actionable strategies. Building strong supplier relationships will be at the heart of your work, ensuring compliance and performance excellence. When challenges arise, you’ll resolve them swiftly while managing CO₂ trading and mitigating energy risks throughout the year.

 

Key Focus Areas:

  • Drive strategic sourcing initiatives for the Energy sub-category to achieve cost reductions and improve service levels.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers; negotiate and finalize global and EU framework agreements.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of energy legislation, market trends, and sustainability developments.
  • Build and manage global/regional supplier relationships and monitor performance compliance.
  • Oversee energy risk management and lead sustainability initiatives within the category.

 

What you bring

  • Master’s degree in Energy, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in procurement or energy markets.
  • Strong expertise in energy legislation and market dynamics.
  • Proven success in managing complex, cross-functional procurement processes.
  • Excellent command of English; Hebrew or additional European languages are a plus.
  • Strong negotiation skills, strategic mindset, and pragmatic approach.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a matrix organization.
