Finance Intern Accounts Payable

Are you studying in the Netherlands and are you looking for an internship within Account Payable and learn on job? Would you like to experience what it is like to have a key role in a global organization? Our Finance team is  searching for a proactive, analytical, and hands-on student who is willing and eager to learn. 

 
You will be exposed to both local and international environments, interfacing with our many colleagues with different roles and responsibilities and working as a key member of an important and diverse team.   

What we offer:
In this internship you will learn all about the control activities for executing the accounts payable processes. Main activities you will learn are; process supplier invoices, execute payments & disbursements, vendor helpdesk, and general AP accounting activities. You will work closely with local AP Team Lead, AP Administrators, the Master Data Group, and with other members of the finance organization, and other stakeholders in the integrated purchase-to-pay processes to deliver service that meets the needs of a fast growing, global organization. 

What you will learn:

• Perform invoice recording: enter/scan supplier invoices;
• Perform invoices audit and key data audit;
• Perform invoice matching and approval;
• Prepare AP monthly management and KPI reporting; 

Your profile:

• Study for business administration or similar studies in the Netherlands;
• Available 3-5 days per week for 5-6 months;
• Fluent in English. Other languages are an advantage;
• Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning financial files;
• Excellent interpersonal skills;
• Finance background (via study or work experience); 
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy;
• Service oriented and dedicated team player with a pragmatic approach;
• Must already be located in the Amsterdam region.
