Expected Breakthroughs in the next 2-3 years:
Serve as ICL’s worldwide Indirect Procurement category expert. Lead Indirect Procurement strategy of ICL. Generate reduction in the total cost of ownership of Indirect across ICL.
Strategic Supplier Partnerships: Build and sustain long-term strategic relationships with C-level managers of key global contractors and energy providers to ensure business continuity, innovation, and value creation.
Other tasks and responsibilities:
Strategic Procurement Leadership:
- Develop, lead, and execute the global indirect procurement strategy, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and value creation across all indirect spend categories.
- Drive and implement best practices in sourcing, procurement processes, and vendor management globally.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (VP operations, VP CAPEX and the GBP heads) to align procurement strategies with company objectives and to ensure process compliance.
- Lead and fit the contract strategies for mega projects using BOT, EPC, TK, and EPCM methodologies.
Category Management:
- Lead category Directors for Contractors, Energy, MRO, IT, Professional Services, and others as assigned.
- Direct the Identification and implementation category-specific strategies to optimize procurement, foster supplier innovation, and drive cost efficiencies.
- Leverage data analytics to make informed category management decisions, including market trend analysis, supplier performance, and risk assessment.
Supplier Relationship and Performance Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key global and regional suppliers by direct interfaces with their C-suite managers to foster collaboration, innovation, and performance improvements.
- Lead and monitor supplier KPIs to ensure adherence to quality, service, and cost objectives.
- Oversee supplier risk management programs to minimize disruptions to the supply chain and ensure business continuity.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global indirect procurement managers and teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Instruct career development and succession planning guidance to ensure strong leadership within the procurement function.
- Promote an inclusive and diverse team culture, ensuring equal opportunities and supporting team members’ growth.
Sustainability and Compliance:
- Drive the global and territory indirect managers to sustainable procurement practices and supplier diversity initiatives aligned with company ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) goals.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate policies across all indirect procurement activities globally.

Experience and background:
- 15+ years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in managing procurement units at a global level.
- Proven experience in leading global procurement teams and driving strategic sourcing initiatives across multiple geographies.
- Demonstrated success in large-scale procurement strategies development, contract negotiations, risk management, and achieving cost savings.
- Master’s degree in Engineering, or in other Technical field.
Languages: Excellent command of English is required. Other languages could be considered as an asset.
