Customer Service and Logistics Representative
For our Supply Chain Organization supporting our Phosphate Business based out of Amsterdam we are looking for a Customer Service and Logistics Representative. Our team evolved over the last years to a professional team and still growing in activities. We support our customers in West- and Eastern Europe, Scandinavia and Rest of World in case of container business and ocean-going bulk vessels to amongst others South America and Africa.
We are one of the world’s largest producers of potash and an integrated producer of a variety of products based on phosphate rock, including phosphate fertilizers, phosphoric acid and animal feed additives. We are the sixth largest potash producer in the world and the second largest in Western Europe. We are also the largest producer of PK fertilizers (compound potash and phosphate fertilizers) in Europe. Our major markets include Brazil, China, Europe and India.
About the job
You will receive and manage customer orders, do stock availability check, coordinate with internal logistics department or third-party warehouse and finally invoice your customers and finish your order process, other inquiries and complaints is part of our daily business. Maintaining an ongoing relationship with internal and external customers and the sales team. Further you will organize and coordinate logistics activities (sea, intermodal, road) and inventory monitoring.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Order management, track order status, inform stakeholders and customers of any potential order changes.
- Organize and coordinate the day-to-day logistic activities for bulk and packed goods, shipped in (bulk) vessel, trucks or containers to meet requested delivery date.
- In case of bulk sea vessel or container orders you will issue shipping documents for example: packing list, Certificate of Analysis and Certificate of Origin.
- Billing processes – invoicing of customers/ debit and credit notes including the creation of purchase orders and service entry sheets.
- Recording complaints and non-conformities.
- Inventory management of products stored at third party depot(s), check stock levels, reconciliation of stock differences, instruct service provider.
- Execution of activities subject to auditing under ISO and SOX standards.
About you
We are looking for someone that knows customer service and logistics. You have a can-do mentality; you like to communicate with your customer and are able to manage your orders in coordination with the internal stakeholders. You have knowledge of Customs regulations in specific countries or are willing to learn this. You understand logistics concepts, transport modes, shipping goods in bulk in vessels and packed cargo in containers, INCO terms, payment terms, L/C (letter of credits), B/G (Bank Guarantee). You can work with SAP in SD, MM and IM module. You have detailed knowledge of order to cash process and general knowledge about financial impact, credit limits, administrative organization, and costs. Fluent English, Dutch and/or German is a pre.
In addition to above ‘hard’ knowledge we are also looking for the right person to add to our team. For us this means that you are well organized, can work under pressure, can multitask. You are proactive and have a problem-solving attitude.
