Machine Operator

As the Machine Operator Liquid, you will be responsible for the efficient setup, operation, and maintenance of liquid filling machinery to ensure the accurate and timely filling of containers. This role requires adherence to quality and safety standards, troubleshooting machine issues, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Machine Operation:

• Operate and monitor liquid filling equipment to ensure consistent and accurate filling of containers.
• Adjust machine settings, including speed, volume, and pressure, as required for different production runs.

Quality Control:

• Inspect filled containers for proper weight, fill level, and sealing integrity.
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure compliance with product specifications.
• Identify and remove defective products from the production line.

Maintenance:

• Perform routine maintenance on machinery, such as cleaning and lubricating parts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
• Report significant equipment malfunctions or repairs to the maintenance team promptly.

Safety and Compliance:

• Follow all safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ensure compliance with company policies.
• Keep the workspace clean, organized, and free of hazards.

Documentation:

• Record production data, including batch numbers, quantities, and any deviations from standard operations.
• Maintain accurate logs for quality checks and equipment maintenance.

Collaboration:

• Coordinate with the production team to ensure smooth workflow and achieve production targets.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding any issues or supply needs.

What skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role? 

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Familiarity with packaging line equipment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Capability of multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Problem solving skills.
• High level of accuracy and precision.
• Attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn for advancement opportunities.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures and noise levels.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):

Compensation at ICL: If you are hired at ICL, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. We also offer a generous benefits package (more information on benefits listed below).

Salary Range: $18 - $24/ hour

Annual Bonus Target: Harvest and Christmas bonus
