Are you the agronomist that can translate grower’s needs into sales?  Within our ambitious Marketing & Business Development Team, we now have an opportunity further built our Turkish Market. 


About the job 
As our new Area Manager for specialty Turf & Ornamental fertilizers, your mission will be to further develop the growth of our core brands (like Osmocote® controlled release fertilizers and Peters Professional® water soluble fertilizers) in the Turkish market. You will be the interface between growers, distributors, marketing and customer service to drive sales and profitability. Based ideally in the area of Istanbul, you will work from your home office and are prepared to spend up to 75 % of your time  with the customer (grower / greenkeeper) .  


More specifically, you will 
•    manage and expand our existing distributor portfolio and seek new market opportunities
•    visit our end users, growers and greenkeepers to understand their needs, offer nutritional solutions and provide technical support like training, field trial assistance and conduct product demonstrations to both our end users and distributors
•    Gather and analyze market data to maximize mid-to-long-term sales 
•    organize effective marketing communication and activities to help introduce new products 
•    Propose annual budget targets, report results on a regular basis and conduct business according to our Ethical Business code


About you
Because you will, by yourself, manage customers and prospects in the country, you must be a true self-starter. You will work from your home office and are willing and able to travel throughout  the country. 


Furthermore, you
•    Have Bachelor’s or master’s degree in agriculture or Horticulture
•    Several years of Sales & Marketing experience in B2B environment
•    Have excellent knowledge of the English language, both verbally and in writing,
•    Are an experienced user of IT applications such as MS-Office and CRM tools, and most of all,
•    Have a drive for results, and
•    Conduct business according our high ethical standards
