The Job Purpose
To ensure effective production planning, inventory control, and material replenishment across European facilities, enabling seamless operations, optimised stock levels, and efficient coordination between third-party manufacturers, warehouses, and internal stakeholders.
The Role
As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will play a critical role in managing short-term production planning, material flows, and stock replenishment across European warehouses. You will drive efficiency by executing day-to-day supply chain activities while contributing to continuous improvement projects. This position sits within a collaborative team and reports to the Supply Chain Manager at Fibrisol Service Ltd.
The Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support short-term (4-week) production planning for European third-party factories.
- Schedule and plan sufficient raw materials, semi-finished products, and commodities with appropriate safety margins.
- Post daily production and consumption of materials and components.
- Manage the transfer of inventory between sites, including raw material supply and finished goods movement to external warehouses.
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring accurate posting of material movements.
- Maintain effective relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, ensuring timely follow-up on purchase orders and documentation.
- Analyse stock levels in UK warehouses and manage replenishment requirements.
- Contribute to projects that drive production efficiency and supply chain optimization across Europe.
The Requirements
- Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or a relevant field.
- Some experience or exposure to a supply chain, planning or logistics environment (industrial or commercial).
- Strong understanding of global supply chain processes and production planning.
- Familiarity with resource planning or ERP/MRP systems (SAP or similar); strong users of any planning software highly desirable.
- Analytical, accurate, reliable, and proactive in communication and decision-making.
- Energetic, solution-focused, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
- Fluency in English.
- Based in or able to commute to Acton, London (UK).
