Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for leading procurement activities for indirect services across the Spain HUB. You will ensure alignment with global procurement strategies and act as a key partner to site management.You will report to Global Head of Indirect Procurement – Process Technical Equipment.

 


Your responsibilities:
• Responsible for the overall hub’s results and implementation including compliance with ICL’s standards
• Manage all regional procurement activities in the hub that is not managed globally
• Effectively work Global Sourcing Managers & implement their category strategy
• Be a partner to the Site management team & Represent Global Procurement Organization
• Coordinate global procurement needs of all sites in the hub and communicate them to Global Sourcing Managers in order to gain maximum fit for use
• Represent the global procurement organization in the hub and ensure the sites receive the optimal service
• Participate in negotiations of agreements and lead in consultation with global team for ‘Hub’ products as needed
• Data oriented approach, Monitor PR/PO for the site and co‑ordinate, manage timely turnaround
• Make proactive contact with sites’ managements in respect to needs, customer satisfaction, savings, compliance and risk reduction. Manage the tactical buyers in the Hub – People manager role

 


Your profile:
• Preferably Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Master’s degree in Business, NEVI 1 or NEVI 2 is a plus
• 10 years of relevant procurement and contracting experience, preferably in mining or chemical production
• Preferably experience in indirect procurement
• Strong Experience in stakeholder management
• Solid understanding of procurement processes and organizational structures
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP
• Proven track record in managing complex, cross‑functional procurement initiatives
• Strong analytical mindset and data‑driven working style
• Ability to lead change and operate effectively in a matrix organization
• Skilled in coaching and developing teams
• Results‑driven, decisive, and pragmatic with a strategic mindset


Languages: Fluent in English and Spanish
