:Brief job description
The Head of Compliance Israel will report to VP Israel General Counsel and Compliance to oversee and manage the Company’s compliance programs in Israel. This position will work with various corporate functions across the organization and business units to promote and facilitate excellence in governance and continuing improvement in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations focusing on privacy, anti-bribery and corruption, trade and other fields of compliance

 

The Head of Compliance will lead the Israel compliance team and be responsible to create and support effective compliance procedures, placing compliance controls and provide practical solutions on compliance matters. Great people skills, effective communication and cooperation throughout the organization, with an understanding of ICL’s business strategy and needs. Other key qualities for success in this role are unblemished ethics and business principles, proactivity with a willingness to learn, diligence to resolution and remediation of issues and effective organization, project management, and collaboration skills

 

:Job demands
Minimum of 6-8 years of relevant experience (compliance/ regulatory experience, working in a global international organization as an inhouse compliance function)
Good Knowledge of regulatory requirements and procedures
Managerial experience / decision making
Law degree or other relevant academic degree from a reputed institute
Support various monitoring and risk mitigating activities in relation to privacy, trade and anti-bribery & corruption compliance
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Hebrew
Can do attitude, ability to manage, prioritize and push tasks/projects through
Ability to manage multiple projects and to facilitate, organize and coordinate in a collaborative manner
Solid, practical judgment in business matters, including with respect to risk assessments and compliance issues
Excellent organizational skills, analytical skills and attention to detail
